Instead, the recommended workflow is to update the data source and have Ceven trigger a new generation request. This creates a fresh version of the document with the updated information. This approach ensures a clean audit trail of all document versions and prevents formatting errors that often occur when trying to programmatically edit a flat PDF file.
Yes, but the logic resides within the Docupilot template itself. You can set up conditional sections in your template that only appear if certain data is present. Ceven simply provides the data. For instance, if you have a section for late fees that only shows if a balance is overdue, Ceven will pass the balance amount and the overdue status.
