Frequently asked questions

Ceven connects to Agiled using an API key provided from your account settings. When you enter your key, we store it in an encrypted vault that is isolated from the model. Every request the agent makes includes this key in the header to authenticate as your user. You can rotate this key in Agiled at any time, which will require a quick update in the Ceven connection panel. We never share this key with third party services and it is only used to execute the specific actions you trigger in your workflows.
Yes. You can build a workflow where Ceven monitors your Agiled deals. When a deal status changes to won, the agent can immediately trigger the Create Project action. It can then pull the associated contact and products to populate the project details. You can even go further by having the agent create a set of template tasks for the project, ensuring your onboarding process is identical for every new client without any manual setup by your team.
Yes, Agiled imposes API rate limits that vary based on your subscription tier. If a Ceven workflow attempts to pull thousands of tasks or contacts in a very short window, Agiled may return a 429 error. Ceven handles this by implementing an exponential backoff strategy, meaning the agent will pause and retry the request automatically. For very large data exports, we recommend scheduling the workflow to run in smaller batches to avoid hitting these limits and ensuring a smooth data flow.
Ceven can read, search, and create tickets in Agiled. This allows you to build a bridge between your communication tools and your support desk. For example, if a client sends a specific keyword in an email, Ceven can use the Create Ticket action to log the issue in Agiled and assign it to the correct employee. The agent can also pull a list of open tickets every morning and send a summary to your Slack channel so nothing falls through the cracks.
The agent uses the Get Timesheets action to pull all logged hours for a specific project ID. It can then sum these hours and multiply them by the client rate found in the contact or project record. Once the total is calculated, Ceven can use the invoice tools to draft a record in Agiled. This removes the need for a human to manually audit timesheets at the end of the month, reducing billing errors and speeding up the payment cycle.
Absolutely. Because Ceven is a workflow layer, it can read data from Agiled and write it elsewhere. You can set up a workflow that pulls all expenses from Agiled via the Get Expenses action and pushes them into QuickBooks or Xero. This ensures your financial reporting is always current without requiring double entry. The agent can match the expense category in Agiled to the correct chart of accounts in your accounting software automatically.
Ceven only has access to the data that the API key you provide permits. Most Agiled API keys provide broad access to the account, but the agent only requests the specific data needed to fulfill your prompt. If you ask for a list of projects, it calls the Get Projects endpoint. It does not scrape your entire database upon connection. You have full control over which workflows are active and what data they are allowed to touch within your Agiled environment.
Yes. The agent first uses the Get Employees action to retrieve a list of all team members and their unique IDs. Once it identifies the correct person for the job based on your prompt or a predefined rule, it uses that ID when calling the Create Task action. This allows you to build intelligent routing workflows where tasks are assigned based on the project category or the specific skill set required for the task.
